Working with Fabas Pre-Mixes frees food producers from the hustle of screening the whole market for suitable ingredients and years of costly product development.

 

While our Yogurt Pre-Mix is ready for testing, the Cheese Pre-Mix is still in development.

Pre-Mix to Yogurt

Yogurt Pre-Mix

The Yogurt Pre-Mix consists of a liquid component made of gently processed faba bean extract, a fat and a sugar source. Apart you'll get our mix of carefully selected plant-based starter cultures.

 

Using Fabas Yogurt Pre-Mix leads to an acid-induced natural yogurt with th incredible properties:

 

  • high protein content (up to 6 g / 100 g) ​

  • no added starches, only 3 ingredients

  • creamy, indulgent texture

  • neutral taste with mildly acid notes

Coming soon: Cheese Pre-Mix

While the Yogurt Pre-Mix is already on the market,

the cheese pre-mix is still in development.

Our propiertary process allows us
to functionalize pulses, so they can serve as a basis for amazing dairy alternatives.

The treatment starts by processing pulses into protein-rich flours, followed by a proprietary extraction &fermentation process. We then combine the protein extracts with additional plant-based ingredients to create pre-mixes, that suit the needs of modern dairy producers.
